Rian Johnson ("Brick") has cast Adrien Brody and "Babel" Oscar nominee Rinko Kikuchi in Endgame Entertainment's international con man adventure movie "The Brothers Bloom" reports the trades.
Brody will play Bloom, the younger brother in a veteran team of con men who falls for a mysterious millionaire (Rachel Weisz) who turns the tables on them as they take on one last job after Brody threatens to quit the family business.
Kikuchi will play the brothers' sexy and secretive accomplice. The $20+ million budgeted film is scheduled to start production March 19th in Europe, Scandinavia and Asia. A Cannes 2008 premiere is planned.
