New Line Cinema has announced a $350 million film financing arrangement with the Royal Bank of Scotland reports the trades.

The arrangement will provide co-financing that is expected to last an estimated two years, covering approximately twenty films.

Some of the movies involved include 2007's "Hairspray," "Rush Hour 3," and "The Golden Compass," along with 2008 titles "Inkheart", "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past", and "Semi-Pro".

The deal will cover films of varied genres and production budgets, including potential new tentpole films, but no word if the deal will include the studio's upcoming film version of J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit".
