  • "Glory" Sequel & Muslim Comedy Planned
    By Garth FranklinMonday January 29th 2007 12:12am
French-Algerian helmer Rachib Bouchareb ("Little Senegal"), the director behind the recently Oscar-nominated "Days of Glory" about unsung Arab heroes in World War Two, is developing two more projects.

The first is a direct sequel to "Days of Glory", recounting the experience of North African fighters post-World War II through to the end of the Algerian War reports Variety.

The other is an American comedy about North Africans in America along "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" lines. French comedy star Jamel Debbouze will star in and help develop the project.
