Two faces look set to join the "Halloween" franchise, although one of them you've seen before around Haddonfield.
First off writer/director Rob Zombie, the man behind the camera on the upcoming remake, announced on his official blog this weekend that he has cast legendary British thesp Malcolm McDowell as Dr. Loomis.
McDowell takes over the role played by Donald Pleasence in John Carpenter's 1978 original and four of its sequels.
Meanwhile in less concrete news, Fangoria reports that Danielle Harris may play Laurie Strode, the role played by Jamie Lee Curtis in four films of the series.
Harris' name sound familiar? It should, Harris made her name playing Jamie Lloyd, the daughter of Laurie Strode and niece of killer Michael Myers, in the fourth and fifth "Halloween" film.
Daeg Faerch, Sheri Moon and Heather Bowen have already been cast in other roles, whilst an August 31st release date for the film is scheduled.
