First the cast got scrapped, now it seems the script is out too for the film adaptation of 80's soapie classic "Dallas".

Starpulse News Blog reports that Robert Harling's script, said to be a hard hitting dramatic take on the story, has been totally scrapped in favour of a comic, slapstick version of the TV show.

In fact the plan looks to be the 'show within a show' style element utilised in "Bewitched". Filming is expected to begin in January.
