Long-running stage show "Jewtopia", a romantic comedy about marrying between faiths, is headed to the big screen in a somewhat altered form reports the trades.

Producer Tucker Tooley has optioned a screenplay loosely based on the play, whilst co-creators and lead actors Bryan Fogel and Sam Wolfson are attached to write and star in the film.

The script, titled "Chris O'Connell and Adam Lipschitz Lose Their Religion," follows two men, a Jew and a non-Jew, each looking to date outside his religion.
