Radha Mitchell, Ray Winstone and Matt Le Nevez are proposed to play the three leads in "The Tender Hook" reports Production Weekly.

Set in a stylized version of jazz-age Sydney, the story follows a young woman's rise to the apex of a love/power triangle in the world of boxing. Iris, McHeath and Art each fight to establish their sovereignty within a flawed moral landscape.

The stylish 1920s film noir is the first feature from writer/director Jonathan Ogilvie, shooting is scheduled to start in Sydney in early 2007.
