John Malkovich and Jeremy Sisto will star in Damian Harris' "Gardens of the Night" reports Production Weekly.

The haunting, gritty and topical story delves deep into the world of child abduction and where it often leads... for the "lucky ones". The script follows an eight-year-old girl and boy who are taken from their homes and convinced that their families do not want them anymore.

After enduring nine years of horror, they are set free. Now, 16-years-old and no one to turn to except each other, they do their best to survive life on the streets.

Production is scheduled to start in San Diego and Los Angeles on August 14.
