Italian director Gabriele Muccino ("The Pursuit of Happy-ness") has signed on for "A Little Game Without Consequence" for Focus Features says The Hollywood Reporter.
The movie will be based on the French play by Gerard Sibleyras. It follows a seemingly perfect couple who pretend to break up, only to realize that their friends never liked them as couple to begin with. The play was adapted into a French movie in 2004.
Allan Loeb, who penned "Things We Lost in the Fire," wrote the English-language adaptation.
