Natalie Portman and Eric Bana are in final talks to headline Sony Pictures "The Other Boleyn Girl" which begins shooting this September in London reports the trades.
Peter Morgan ("The Last King of Scotland") wrote the adaptation of Philippa Gregory's historical novel, which tells the story of two ferociously ambitious sisters, Mary and Anne Boleyn, who were rivals for the bed and heart of the Tudor King Henry VIII.
Justin Chadwick is directing the pic, with Focus Features in discussions to take international rights on the pic. BBC Films, which originally acquired book rights and made a 2003 telefilm starring Natascha McElhone, also is a producer on the film.
