Warner Bros. has set "Road Trip" and "Starsky and Hutch" helmer Todd Phillips to direct "Men," an Americanized version of the 1985 German film says Variety.
Allan Loeb ("Things We Lost in the Fire", "The Valet") is penning the script. In the original film, directed by Doris Dorrie, a self-absorbed man becomes the roommate of the person with whom his wife is having an affair.
Phillips is also developing Zack Helm-scripted comedy "The Disassociate" at Warners. He just completed the comedy "School for Scoundrels," which the Weinstein Co. will release in September.
