    The Loch: In his official newsletter, "Meg" author Steve Alten revealed that two weeks ago he optioned the dramatic rights to "The Loch" to Adelstein/Parouse Productions, the producers of TV's "Prison Break". Alten says "they're already at work packaging talent to bring to a studio".

    Moscow Zero: Two trailers, the theatrical poster, and photos are up at the official site.

    The Objective: Darclight has picked up distribution for "Blair Witch" co-helmer Daniel Myrick's upcoming supernatural horror pic. Pic follows a special ops team carrying out a mission in Afghanistan that finds itself lost in a Bermuda Triangle-type vortex of ancient evil.

    The Omen: Various clips from the upcoming remake are up at Rope of Silicon.

    Rambo IV: Mike Vogel and Jenna Boyd are rumoured to have supporting roles according to Sly Central.

    Reba (TV): The CW has ordered 13 new episodes for "Reba", making it a last minute save, together with "7th Heaven". Word from TV.Com is that if they hadn't ordered the eps, the CW would have to pay a 20 million dollar penalty, due to loss of income for series producer 20th Century Fox.

    Star Trek XI: Patrick Stewart is over any chance of the franchise coming back reports iF Magazine.

    Star Wars: Original Trilogy (DVD): The Digital Bits reports that the upcoming DVD release of the unaltered original films will unfortunately be non-anamorphic widescreen.

    Superman (DVD): Superman Homepage reports that Warner Bros. held interviews last month to find a double for Christopher Reeve for additional footage they are shooting for an upcoming 14-disc Ultimate Edition Superman DVD collection later this year. It is not known if Brandon Routh was available or considered, but the scenes involved were only a couple of shots from a distance.

    Superman Returns: Brett Ratner talks about what his film would be like to iF Magazine, a new piece of banner art is up at Ecran Large.
