Billed as a twisted modern fable, story revolves around a science scholar who spends the summer on a strange island that is out-of-step with the real world. Following up on a string of clues, she tries to solve the mystery that has stunted island residents.

David Michaels makes his feature directorial debut and co-wrote the script with Phil Reeves ("Happy, Texas").
