Sony Pictures has acquired an untitled romantic comedy pitch from "Hitch" scribe Kevin Bisch reports the trades.

Ashton Kutcher will receive a $10 million payday to topline the sophisticated comedy told through the eyes of Kutcher, an L.A. florist whose real art is orchestrating makeups, breakups and hookups throughout the city.

Sony is expected to fast-track the film for a release next year. Kutcher will next be seen in Disney family film "The Guardian" decked out in (hopefully) a speedo.
