  • One Take "Long Shot" Film Done
    By Garth FranklinTuesday April 18th, 2006 4:24pm
Bryant Entertainment has completed principle photography on its latest project, "The Long Shot". Set in a neighborhood bar in the hour and a half before closing, "The Long Shot" takes an irreverent look at the goings-on of the bar's inhabitants. This film utilized local Dallas-area talent both in front and behind the camera.

Filmed using HD technology, this 90-minute movie marks the second time anyone has successfully created a feature-length movie in one continuous shot (no breaks, one camera, all one scene) and the first one done in the US (the first, "Russian Ark", was done in Russia in 2002). To prove their claim they used a secondary camera with time-stamp to record the making of the movie.

The soundtrack will feature local Dallas bands such as Strangleweed, Toughbreaks.
