Director Alexandre Aja ("The Hills Have Eyes", "High Tension") has signed on to direct horror movie "Into the Mirror" for New Regency says The Hollywood Reporter.

The story follows a security guard at a high-end department store who begins to investigate mysterious deaths occurring in front of the stores' mirrors. He soon discovers that there are murderous reflections out for revenge.

Aja and producing partner Gregory Levasseur will rework a script by Jim Uhls and Joe Gangemi that just got a polish by Kieran and Michelle Mulroney. Shooting begins in the Fall.
