20th Century Fox has picked up up Brent Forrester's surfer spec "Big Wave" with Emmett and Brendan Malloy attached to direct the comedy reports Ananova.
The story follows the world's greatest big wave surfer who, after being sidelined for years after a traumatic wipeout, decides to surf again in order to save a convalescent home for old surfers.
Based on an idea by Ben Stiller (who will produce), the sports comedy will begin filming sometime next month.
