Oded Fehr ("The Mummy") will reprise his role of Carlos Olivera in the third installment of the "Resident Evil" franchise. Director Paul W.S. Anderson has penned the script for the third film titled "Resident Evil: Extinction" which will be directed by Russell Mulcahy reports Production Weekly.

Milla Jovovich will return as Alice who is leading a caravan of humans across the Nevada desert on a long trek towards Alaska whilst avoiding the hunt of the undead minions of the scheming Dr. Isaacs (Iain Glen). Alice is hungry for revenge against the zombies and Isaacs.

Mike Epps is also returning when production begins in Mexicali in mid-May.
