Chris and Paul Weitz ("About a Boy", "American Pie") have signed on to produce, with Chris adapting, Neil Strauss' best-selling seduction tome "The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists" for Columbia Pictures reports Reuters.
Strauss' first-person story, which originally ran as a Sunday Style article in the New York Times in 2004,is an undercover account of a community of pickup artists of AFC's (average frustrated chumps) trying to bed HB's (hot babes). The guru of the group is a man named Mystery, who dispenses advice on the art of seduction using the mantra - find, meet, attract, close.
Michael De Luca is producing alongside the brothers who are producing through their Depth of Field production company.
