    "Fred Caruso and Dino Constantine Conte have launched shingle Wildflower Entertainment to produce movies and TV shows, already they have six projects in the pipeline with budgets ranging from $20 million to $40 million. Amongst them "The November Man," a thriller with Pierce Brosnan attached and currently in script stage, A contempo suspense movie loosely inspired by the story of the jazz trumpeter Chet Baker entitled "Looking for Chet Baker", and the James Brolin led series "Coronado P.D." which will focus on sex crimes on the island off San Diego..."     20th Century Fox has acquired the Dario Scardapane spec script "Fed X" as a star vehicle for Hugh Jackman, who'll produce with his Seed Production partner John Palermo. In "Fed X," Jackman will play a green FBI agent sent to Miami to retrieve a criminal for prosecution. During the return trip, the fed and the thug each learn there's more to the other than expected. Scardapane, who last worked for Fox on "Fantastic Voyage," recently made a deal to turn the Hong Kong film "Cheung Fo" into Peter Berg-directed drama "The Mission" at Universal. He's also writing Los Angeles crime drama pilot "Faceless" for Fox..." (full details)

    Neal McDonough has joined the cast of "The Guardian" for Touchstone Pictures and Beacon Pictures. Buena Vista Pictures will distribute domestically. The film, which stars Ashton Kutcher, Kevin Costner and Sela Ward, revolves around the relationship between a rebellious Coast Guard enlistee (Kutcher) and a legendary rescue swimmer (Costner).
