Walt Disney Co. and Apple Computer said yesterday that they've reached an agreement under which ABC and Disney Channel television shows will be made available for download from iTunes for US$1.99 per episode for display on a new video-enabled iPod.

According to Mac News World, downloadable ABC programs include two of the network's breakout hits from last season, "Desperate Housewives" and "Lost," along with the new series "Night Stalker".

Current season episodes of "Housewives" and "Lost" will be available the day after they are broadcast, and episodes from the complete first seasons of those shows will be available immediately.
