Aussie actor David Wenham ("The Lord of the Rings"), rising thesp Dominic West ("The Forgotten", "Mona Lisa Smile"), Brazillian hunk Rodrigo Santoro ("Love Actually", "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle"), and "Brothers Grimm" actress Lena Headey have all joined Scottish hunk Gerard Butler ("Tomb Raider: Cradle of Life", "Timeline") on Zach Snyder's "300" reports Variety.

Based on Frank Miller's graphic novel of the same name, the film documents the real-life battle of Thermopylae, in which King Leonidas (Butler) and 300 Spartan warriors fought to the death against the massive Persian army estimated to be a million men strong.

Production begins in two weeks in Montreal, where Snyder will shoot actors in front of a green screen, relying on all CG backgrounds.
