  • "Lost" Clue Under The Surface - Spoiler
    By Garth FranklinMonday October 3rd 2005 6:52pm
God I love "Lost" and this week's second episode of the second season had a clue which seems to have passed many by (I missed it the first time myself), a clue which may hold a key to the mystery it seems.

One of the many reveals this week was a corporate logo of some sort all over the hatch - a black and white octagon shaped symbol with a swan and the word 'DHARMA'.

A few minutes later in the episode however came a payoff to that clue, a payoff that went by so fast that only those fully paying attention and with big clear televisions probably got it.

During the scene with Sawyer swimming over to the pontoon, we catch a fleeting glimpse of the shark menacing them swimming by underwater. For a fraction of a second its tail is visible and tattooed on that tail is the same octagonal 'DHARMA' symbol.

As we know the producers have said it's not an experiment, purgatory, or someone's dream but this new clue seems definitely to lean towards the experiment theory.

Thanks to 'Sawyer, Jack & Sayid Are Hot'.
