Ringers: This November 22, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (SPHE) invites you to return to the Shire with the release of the feature-length documentary RINGERS: LORD OF THE FANS, direct to DVD. Carlene Cordova produced, directed and wrote this award-winning film with executive producer Tom DeSanto, which charts the incredible influence and ripple-effect that Lord of the Rings has had on worldwide pop culture over the past five decades. Eragon: Blond spunk Garrett Hedlund ("Troy", "Four Brothers") has joined the cast of the film based on the best-seller about a boy and his dragon. He'll play Murtagh, a traveler who joins Eragon.

Goal!: AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson will make a cameo appearance in the upcoming movie "Goal!" directed by Danny Cannon reports Crabsody in Blue.
How High 2: At the Methodman & Redman concert at Festival Hall in Melbourne on Saturday night, the pair revealed they were "the first to know that a sequel to they're cult hit How High is currenlty being written & sheduled to start filming next year, for a late 2006 release".
Naked Weapon: The recent rumour that Cruise/Wagner is interested in remaking this Asian film property have been confirmed to be false.
Shinobi: Estrenos de Cine reports that the Wachowski brothers ("The Matrix", "V for Vendetta") are keen on the rights to Japanese film "Shinobi" with plans to do an American remake. The 2005 film adaptation of the novel by Futaroh Yamada is best described as a Romeo & Juliet love story set in the world of warring ninja clans. This apparent remake is rumoured to be updating the tale into the modern spy world.
Superman: The second, third and fourth films will get special edition DVDs much like the upcoming "Batman" sequels have reports Superman Cinema. Expect a release mid or late 2006.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning : Taylor Handley ("The O.C.") has been cast in New Line Cinema's prequel, playing one of several doomed travelers in the horror prequel, with Andrew Bryniarski reprising his role as Leatherface. Jordana Brewster and R. Lee Emery co-star. Jonathan Liebesman will direct the film, which starts shooting in October in Austin, Texas.
The X-Files 2: "The X-Files" movie director Rob Bowman told DVD Rama he would like to make a Director's Cut DVD for "Reign of Fire", and "X-Files 2" movie script is finished but he thinks Chris Carter wants to direct it, and finally he would like to direct a much darker "Elektra" sequel.
The Visiting: At first it was touted as a remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Then the title was simply changed to Invasion. Now, Warner Bros. Pictures is giving up on the word "invasion" completely and has renamed their upcoming thrill "The Visiting", starring Nicole Kidman, Daniel Craig and now Jeremy Northam reports Rope of Silicon.
