Andrea Corr of the band 'The Corrs' is to star in a new supernatural thriller entitled "The Threat" in London and India reports Ananova.

The story follows a half-Indian, half-English businessman haunted by a mysterious woman from his past who he doesn't remember. Mahesh Mathai will direct the movie which will co-star Troy actress Saffron Burrows, Linus Roache and Bollywood actor Roshan Seth. At one stage "Scream" actress Neve Campbell and "Lost" star Naveen Andrews were linked to the movie.

Andrea, 31, made her film debut with a cameo role along with her siblings in Alan Parker's 1991 movie "The Commitments". Her latest movie role playing a psychologist in The Bridge premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. Filming is due to begin later this month.
