Charlie Hunnam is in negotiations to join Alfonso Cuaron's "The Children of Men" for Universal Pictures says The Hollywood Reporter.
Clive Owen and Julianne Moore already have been cast in the film adaptation of the book by mystery writer P.D. James. The story is set in the near future, when mankind has lost the ability to reproduce, and the world is rocked by the news that the world's youngest person -- who is 18 -- has died.
The 25-year-old Hunnam rose to fame playing the young out and about Nathan on the UK version of "Queer as Folk" in 1999. Since then he's followed it up with roles in "Nichoals Nickleby", "Cold Mountain", "Abandon", the TV shows "Undeclared" & "Young Americans", the upcoming Colin Farrell film "Ask the Dust" and the British football flick "Green Street Hooligans" opening this Friday in the US.
Thanks to 'Carl'.
