Starting this week Warner Bros. Pictures is kicking off the 'Poseidon Journals', a weekly update of the making of "Poseidon" that will be chronicled by a different website for each new chapter. Usually online set visits are conducted all at once with many sites ending up reporting almost the same content.

Not so for "Poseidon" which sees a representative from each of the major movie gossip sites taking a trip to the set at different times throughout the shooting. The result means you'll get decidedly different inside looks at the making of this major release still in the works.

Each outlet will be granted different interview opportunities, see sets at different stages of filming and so forth, and then provide coverage in their own different and unique styles.

Coverage kicks off this week with Movieweb already launching the first chapter. In later weeks sites like JoBlo, Coming Soon, Aint it Cool, CHUD and of course Dark Horizons will provide their own articles - yours truly will be publishing my own report a few chapters down the line.
