After a long search, Fox 2000 has found its warrior heroine for "Eragon" in the form of Sienna Guillory says The Hollywood Reporter.
The "Resident Evil: Apocalypse" actress has signed on to play Arya, a skilled fighter and powerful leader of a combative tribe who also served as the guardian of a dragon's egg until her capture by imperial forces. Teen newcomer Ed Speleers stars as the title character, while Djimon Hounsou, Jeremy Irons and John Malkovich fill out the ensemble cast.
Based on the best-selling novel by Christopher Paolini, the film centers on a boy named Eragon who harnesses his magical powers and becomes a great dragon rider. The fate of the empire depends on his ability to kill the evil king. The adaptation has just started lensing in Budapest under effects expert Stefen Fangmeier direction.
Thanks to 'Miller'.
