A French remake of "Law and Order: Criminal Intent" is in the works. Actual episodes of the series will be adapted for Paris with the first episode to air sometime in 2006 on TF1 says Allocine.

Robert Goren, the merciless detective of New York Crime Squad, is soon going to have a French clone. The series will be directly adapted from the original scripts although minor rewriting will be necessary to fit in not only with French terminology and locations but the French judicial system.

Dick Wolf is expected to advise the production in its work in order to protect the integrity of the series.
