    "Colin Farrell is turning to the bible for his next mainstream effort. Farrell is keen on starring in and producing a remake of the Paul Newman 1953 flick "The Robe." The original centres on Marcellus, a tribune in the time of Christ, who wins Jesus' homespun robe after the crucifixion.     "New Line has signed "Old School" and "Starsky & Hutch" writer Scot Armstrong to start work on "Elf 2." Armstrong was the last scribe to do an uncredited rewrite on the original "Elf," which grossed $173 million in its 2003 release.
