For a while, rumours were swirling everydary in regards to casting a new 007, and now it's all died. Expect the quiet to last significantly longer too. Latest reports indicate that the production of "Casino Royale" have indeed defected from the 007 stages at England's Pinewood Studios to Prague's Barrandov Studios as earlier reported.
Now however, it seems the film is aiming for a start of shooting in the summer of 2006. This would put the November 2006 release date in jeopardy, but would line the film up perfectly for a Summer 2007 slot.
Meanwhile in more comic news, Rocker Alice Cooper has begged movie bosses to cast him as superspy James Bond's arch enemy in upcoming 007 movie "Casino Royale" reports Contact Music. The rock star doesn't care who takes on the coveted role, as long as he plays the suave secret agent's nemesis.
