Coming Soon reports that according to one of their scoopers, the upcoming "Star Wars" TV series will apparently be shot in Australia where the last two films and the sci-fi series "Farscape" have previously been done. Lucas says "The TV series, the animated TV series called 'Clone Wars' is about the clone wars. Some of it has been on the Cartoon Network, but we're making it into an actual half hour, 3D animation series, and the other one deals with minor characters. And the time period is between episode 3 and episode 4, that 20-year stretch, but the characters aren't any of the main characters that are in the movies."
Meanwhile, TV Guide spoke with author Steve Alten about how his $75 million budget giant shark movie "Meg" is coming along. Shane Salerno (Shaft) is currently doing a rewrite of the film and casting will start once the rewrite is complete with production targeted for a Fall start. Alten says "Like in the novel, the Megalodon that will be used in the movie will be a ghostly albino, her lack of pigment reflecting her ancestors' existence in the depths of the Mariana Trench. She'll be pretty scarred up and gruesome, with some features that make her unique from her modern-day cousin, the Great White. Most of all, she'll be big. Very big."
Thanks to 'Marines'.
