The 80's brought us big hair, the 90's close cropped, now in the 21st century it looks like baldness is in. If the assorted cast of "Jarhead" including Jake Gyllenhaal and Jamie Foxx going the polished cranium wasn't enough, two upcoming films will feature two actors sans their brunette locks.

First up, Kevin Spacey confirmed on London radio recently he will indeed be going bald to play Lex Luthor in the upcoming "Superman Returns" which he begins filming next month in Australia. Luthor has been famously bald in the comics and cartoons but on screen had rarely displayed that quality aside from a few scant minutes in the movies and "Lois & Clark." The sole exception has been Michael Rosenbaum's work on "Smallville" with his character having been bald since the show's inception.

It also seems men aren't the only ones going the chrome dome. Natalie Portman is now shooting "V for Vendetta" in which she plays a prisoner - a bald prisoner. Egotastic has a shot of the girl's new look about which she says "Some people will think I'm a neo-Nazi, or that I have cancer, or I'm a lesbian." Let's go with that last one.
