It's Latin heart-throb mania as Antonio Banderas is set to team Jennifer Lopez in the indie thriller "Bordertown," pairing the two stars for the first time on the big screen according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Set on the U.S.-Mexico border, the film centers on a journalist who investigates a series of murders that take place in the vicinity of some U.S.-owned factories in the region.
Gregory Nava, who directed Lopez in the 1997 feature "Selena" and was scheduled to work with Banderas in 2001 on the feature "Zapata," is directing. The feature will shoot in both Mexico and New Mexico and has been set up at New Line Cinema.
