"Double Feature Films is developing a contempo musical to be toplined by Outkast rapper Andre '3000' Benjamin and penned by Tony-winning "Avenue Q" scribe Jeff Whitty. Andre will play someone with magical powers who comes into the lives of a family. He'll also serve as a co-producer on the pic and create original music. "Anjelica Huston, Brent Spiner and Lukas Haas have joined the cast of "Material Girls," which is set to star sisters Hilary and Haylie Duff. Martha Coolidge is directing the film, which began principal photography April 18th in Los Angeles.
