Guy Pearce is being eyed to star in the film adaptation of Stuart Browne's "Dangerous Parking" reports Moviehole.
To be directed by Peter Howitt ["Sliding Doors"], the film tells of a filmmaker and alcoholic (Pearce), who has led quite a seedy life - sex, drugs and rock and roll, and then some - but decides its time for a reevaluation when he's diagnosed with cancer.
Mena Suvari is also being tipped for a role in the film. Danny Boyle was being lined up to direct a couple of years back but that's obviously no longer the case.
Pearce has just started filming "First Snow" with Piper Perabo and next up will shoot "I Believe in America" with Luis Guzman and Hector Elizondo.
Thanks to 'Clint'.
