'Antoine' has some news about the big-budget "Arthur," directed by Luc Besson:

"Arthur" is adapted from a series of children's books written by Besson, who also wrote the screenplay for the movie. It's a mix with actors and 3D animation. The 3D animation is being crafted by French specialist Buf Compagnie.

The budget is around 65 millions euros and the film is scheduled for a mid-2006 release There is one month left of shooting with the actors (who are not well known but excellent) and then the project goes to the editing room. The shooting took place in France, close to Paris.

Madonna voiced the part of Princess Selenia, recording her part a month and a half ago. David Bowie will voice Maltazard, Snoop Dog will voice Max, and Eric Serra is doing the music score".
