MTV reports that production on a movie based on the Motley Crue biography "The Dirt" is expected to begin in the spring. "The script is basically done. As executive producers, we need to weed out any of the weak shit. We like to do things we've never done before, so we're excited about it" said Nikki Sixx, the band's bassist.
In related news, the newly reunited 'Crue' was on hand to present the digital artist of the year award at last night's Billboard Music Awards, but the introduction went off the beaten path as singer Vince Neil and actress Tara Reid had troubles reading the teleprompter. The ensuing chaos found Sixx's bit censored by the network before pop rock act Maroon5 was finally announced as the winner.
