    Dreamer: "Elisabeth Shue, who next appears in Gregg Araki's indie "Mysterious Skin," has signed on to star in John Gatins' "Dreamer". Shooting starts this month on the project, which Hyde Park recently boarded to co-finance. The film will follow the story of a Kentucky horse trainer and his daughter, who rescue a horse with a broken leg. The two then help nurse the animal back to health and take it to race in the Breeders' Cup. Shue will play the mother in the family..." (more info).

    Fun with Dick & Jane: "Angie Harmon is joining Tea Leoni and Jim Carrey in Columbia Pictures' "Fun With Dick and Jane." Harmon is taking the role of Veronica in the remake of the 1977 comedy. Dean Parisot directs. Brian Grazer is producing. George Segal and Jane Fonda starred in the original feature about an upwardly mobile couple who turn to bank robbery to get out of bankruptcy..."     The Amityville Horror: Downtown Antioch will be turned into downtown Amityville, NY for a day when Long Island Productions rolls into town in early September to shoot a few scenes for the remake.

    The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe: NarniaWeb has been able to confirm that seven short people have been cast. Four are from India and three from Thailand. All seven will be part of the Red and Black Dwarf Armies in the film.

    The World's Fastest Indian: Roger Donaldson is directing "The Worlds Fastest Indian" starring Anthony Hopkins. This is the true story of Burt Munro who broke the speed record for a motorcycle back in 1967 on the Bonneville Salt Flats. They have filmed already in New Zealand I believe but will shoot in Utah in October.

    Tomb Raider 3: Angelina Jolie has confirmed there will be no "Tomb Raider 3" to Mediasharx.
