  • "Oceans", MI3, "Grudge" Updates
    By Garth FranklinThursday, July 8th 2004 11:26PM
A couple of assorted updates too big to squeeze into the News Bites section today, mostly to do with location shooting related information:

    Ocean's Twelve
Matt Damon called into Boston-area radio station WBCN 104.1 FM and said that all European location photography for "Ocean's Twelve" has finished, and they're heading to LA for soundstage set photography for the next month. The fact that he has two more movies after O12 has put a dampener on plans to co-write a screenplay with Ben Affleck, along with reducing his participation in the next "Project Greenlight" series.

    Mission: Impossible III
German newspapers and news agency DPA have confirmed that shooting
for "Mission: Impossible 3" will take at Studio Babelsberg Berlin starting
in August. Tom Cruise's company has booked two stages at the studio. Coincidentally, Charlize Theron will shoot her sci-fi production "Aeon Flux" in Babelsberg starting from mid August.

    The Grudge
The IMDb reports that Sarah Michelle Gellar is heading back to Japan to shoot more scenes with her castmates for the upcoming thriller "The Grudge". From January onwards, the former "Buffy" beauty spent three months in Tokyo making the feature. No word on how long these reshoots will take.

Leon 2 (aka The Professional 2)
Whilst out promoting "Garden State", Natalie Portman was asked by Coming Soon about whether she would ever consider doing a sequel:"I would do any film that Luc Besson directed. If he directed it, I would do it...but he hasn't asked me, because that's not anything that's real. You just made that movie up."

Thanks to 'Jeff', 'Clopin', 'Gakman' & 'Kenny'
