    Charlotte's Web: "Gary Winick, who helmed "13 Going on 30," has signed on to direct the British children's classic "Charlotte's Web" for the Kerner Entertainment Co. and Paramount Pictures. Karey Kirkpatrick has been brought in to revise the adaptation -- written by Susannah Grant -- of E.B. White's classic. Kerner Entertainment production head Paul Neesan will serve as an executive producer on the live-action/photorealistic CG animation picture..." (more info).

    Eli Cohen Biopic: "Boys Don't Cry writer/director Kimberly Peirce will direct a film about the legendary Israeli spy Eli Cohen for Columbia Pictures. Andrew Davies (the "Bridget Jones" series) is writing the film's script. Cohen was an Israeli spy who infiltrated the Syrian government. He was discovered and hanged in 1965, but the information he provided was largely responsible for Israel's capture of the Golan Heights in 1967..." (more info).

    Graduate Follow-Up: "Mark Ruffalo (13 Going on 30) is set to join Jennifer Aniston and Shirley MacLaine in the Ted Griffin-directed untitled romantic comedy that advances the storyline of The Graduate at Warners Bros..." (more info).

    Manifest Destiny: "Howard and Karen Baldwin have struck a first-look deal with producing partners Bob Rehme and Nick Grillo. The first project to fall under the deal will be an adaptation of the novel "Manifest Destiny," by Brian Garfield. "Manifest Destiny" is described as an epic of the American West during the 1880s as seen through the eyes of young Theodore Roosevelt. Kirk Ellis ("John Adams") wrote the current draft of the script..." (more info).

    Shelter: "Intermedia has optioned the rights to the psychological thriller "Shelter," from "Identity" writer Michael Cooney. Neal Edelstein and Mike Macari of Macari/Edelstein Films ("The Ring") will produce with Intermedia. Intermedia vp Lindsey Dold is supervising the project. "Shelter" follows a female forensic psychiatrist who specializes in debunking multiple personality disorder. When she discovers that her latest patient's various personalities are all murder victims, she struggles to find a logical explanation for the man's delusion..." (more info).

    The Zajaba Jungle: " decade after bringing William Steig's book "Shrek" to DreamWorks, producer John H. Williams has optioned a second title from the children's author. The Vanguard Animation founder has optioned exclusive rights to "The Zajaba Jungle" from the late cartoonist's estate. "Jungle" has as its main character a young boy who must leave the safety of his own back yard to trek through a dense, fantastical jungle to find his captured parents..." (more info).

    Alien vs. Predator: A great new look at the Queen, an unmasked Predator, and Lex holding a spear fashioned from an Alien's tail and Alien head shield is up at AVPGalaxy.

    Fahrenheit 9/11: The official one-sheet is out for Michael Moore's controversial doco.

    Fly on the Wall: Boston-area radio station WXRV 92.5 FM reported today that Will Ferrell will be appearing in this comedy about a lawyer who saves the life of a bug and experiences a run of good luck over it.

    I, Robot: Two new pics featuring the Audi used in the film are at Rope of Silicon.

    M:I-3: The Age reports that authorities in Berlin have told Hollywood star Tom Cruise that he can, after all, use the historic Reichstag in shooting for his Mission Impossible 3. A German parliament spokesman said that after talks with Babelsberg Studios, Cruise could shoot some scenes outside the Reichstag and on the steps. However, the conditions are tight.

    Serenity: The "Firefly" movie adaptation is scheduled for April 22nd, 2005 according to Coming Soon. Filming has just begun.

    Star Wars: Episode III: On the official site, a new production video was released for Hyperspace Members, depicting the various costumes and how they are made. Trisha Beggar designed/made around 1300!!! costumes for the film, and in several segments, you see Natalie Portman's character "Padme Amidala" wearing maternity clothes. There are also shots of aliens and their costumes, the costume for the Emperor/President and so forth.
