Now, over at the official Diamond Dead website for this George Romero-directed dark comedy, they've announced that shock rocker Marilyn Manson has the script and they are looking to cast him as the one and only Jesus Christ. Script excerpts from the film indicate that Jesus does inhale - quite a bit it seems as he smokes joints with a zombie band. See Bloody Disgusting for more script pages.

Meanwhile, New Line Cinema has signed actor Christopher Plummer to co-star in director Terrence Malick's upcoming epic The New World. Plummer joins previously announced star Colin Farrell in the production. Plummer will play Captain Christopher Newport, an English officer who is among the initial settlers in the New World and serves as the first President of the Jamestown Colony.
