Asian beauty Kelly Hu continues her rise in the genre world. Following up her success in a practically non-speaking metal clawed role in "X2", the actress has joined the cast of The WB's remake of the 60'svampire gothic drama "Dark Shadows". Hu's role will be that of Dr. Julia Hoffman, a physician who soon discovers that Barnabas Collins is a vampire. Hu joins an already strong cast including Martin Donovan, Matt Czuchry, Alexander Gould, Blair Brown, Marley Shelton, Ivana Milicevic, Alec Newman and Jessica Chastain.

Meanwhile, USA Today confirmed in a chat with Thomas Jane at the premiere of "The Punisher" which villain they will go with for the sequel - Jigsaw. Jane describes him as "He's this rageful guy who had his face horribly mutilated by The Punisher. He's all stitched up back together, but his whole shredded, scarred body looks like a jigsaw". Jane is signed for two further sequels.
