sp; The Hollywood Reporter2002's Oscar winning actress Halle Berry followed up her indie film success with several big budget action movies and now this year's favourite to win the award looks to be doing the same.

The Hollywood Reporter indicates South African beauty Charlize Theron ("The Italian Job", "Monster") is tipped to star as a futuristic assassin in a big screen live action adaptation of the MTV animated series "Aeon Flux". Created by Peter Chung, the show revolves around a killer known for her extreme style, cool attitude, tight clothes and propensity for dying.

Shooting is aiming to begin in June under the helm of "Girlfight" Director Karyn Kusama and the production banner of Paramount Pictures.
