Despite some rather nasty reviews, "House of the Dead" still managed to earn some nice cash for its backers and so its director Uwe Boll is already moving onto other projects - including another games adaptation.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, his production company Boll KG has added the Gas Powered Games' title "Dungeon Siege" to its list of game-to-movie projects - Boll himself will serve as executive producer & director on the $50 million film which he calls "Lord of the Rings" meets "Braveheart".

The script is expected to be complete by June, filming to happen in Canada and Eastern Europe in Fall 2004, and a Winter 2005 release is being targeted - "'Dungeon Siege' gives me the opportunity to do a big feature in a genre that I'm a huge fan of: fantasy adventure" Boll said.

The multi-tasker is currently completing the Christian Slater-led movie adaptation of the game "Alone in the Dark" due in theatres next year.
