James Van Der Beek, Rhona Mitra, Josh Lucas, and Jon Hamm will co-star in "The Boy in the Box" for A2 Entertainment Group and Code Entertainment reports the trades.
The thriller tells the story of a half-century old unsolved murder of a boy whose mummified remains are found in a box.
Hamm will play a small-town police chief determined to discover the truth. Mitra plays the police chief's wife, Lucas plays the father of the murdered boy.
Marcus Thomas, Jimmy Bennett and Jessica Chastain also star. Anders Anderson is directing from a screenplay by Glenn Taranto.
