Variety reports that Penelope Cruz has joined with a stellar ensemble of Brit actors on "Chromophobia," a psychological drama set in contemporary London, written and directed by Martha Fiennes.
The rest of the cast includes helmer's brother Ralph Fiennes, Kristin Scott Thomas, Rhys Ifans, Ian Holm, Ben Chaplin, Damian Lewis and Harriet Walters. The $10 million pic probes the dilemmas of modern London life, where the old-fashioned virtues of honesty and loyalty are replaced by the new morality of success and celebrity, it's the story of a bourgeois family slowly coming apart at the seams.
The movie started shooting a couple of weeks ago on the Isle of Man. It will move to locations in London this fall. "Chromophobia" is Fiennes' first feature since her debut "Onegin" five years ago.
