Last month, it was reported that producers of John Hillcoat's "The Road" were eyeing Viggo Mortensen to star.
Now, ShockTillYouDrop.com has learned that Guy Pearce, who worked with Hillcoat on the Aussie western "The Proposition," has joined the pic.
In the film, a father and son traverse a post-apocalyptic America facing wackos and cannibals. "Road" is based on the novel by Cormac McCarthy. Joe Penhall is adapting.
