Heading Down the Glory Road

'WayneX13' sent along a short set report on the movie "Glory Road" about the 1966 Texas Western coach Don Haskins who led the first all-black starting five college basketball team to the NCAA national championship. Here's the scoop.

"It's filming in New Orleans right now to be specific The UNO Lake Front Arena. Last week it seemed that Josh Lucas had some kids in the crowd as extras, as did a few of the crew, the director's daughters were in the crowd. and there was another guy's kids in the crowd.

From what I over heard production is behind schedule. Sam Jones didn't look too happy with things - I heard him complaining about not getting any game action on Tuesday, he was complaining to the basketball choregrapher Mike Fisher whose reply was take it up with the writers.

Josh seemed cool as did most of the cast and crew. The game they were filming was Texas Western vs Seattle University. I'm sending a pic of the center court that was made to look like the Seattle court and a prop program.

Thanks to 'WayneX13'.
