David Reynolds ("A Bug's Life," "Chicken Little") will pen "Nightmare Academy," Universal's adaptation of the children's literature series by Dean Lorey says The Hollywood Reporter.
The trilogy, the first book of which was published in August by HarperCollins, is set in an academy that trains young adults who are responsible for policing nightmares.
Stephen Sommers and Bob Ducsay are producing.
